Regional Development Plan
The Walloon Development Plan, called the "Plan de Secteur", is a map of all the plots of land in the Walloon Region, labelled according to their land use designation. |
The land use designation of a property depends on the activity performed on the plot.
Properties are grouped in zones depending on these activities, and the zones are recorded on the Walloon Development Plan.
The types of land use designations vary from one region to the next. In Wallonia, the main areas on the Plan de Secteur are:
- Residential area
- Rural residential area
- Mixed commercial area
- Industrial commercial area
- Agricultural area
- Forested area
- Green area
- Natural area
- Recreation area
- Area of landscape interest
- Area of cultural, historic or aesthetic interest
- Etc...
