Legal Documents

As well as advertisements, the disclosure requirement applies to deeds of sale and some lease agreements. In addition to the legislation previously in force, both notarised deeds of sale and private sale agreements must now include the following information:

According to Article 141 of the D.R.O. (Flemish Decree on Regional Planning) of 18 May 1999, any person who draws up a deed of sale or a lease agreement for a duration of more than 9 years must:

  • state whether planning permission has been granted for the property;
  • specify the most recent land use designation of the property in question in the register of plans.

And you, what do you think about it?
