Credit line
When a credit account is opened, the lender places a certain sum of money at the disposal of the purchaser, who can use this as and when the need arises, e.g. during the building of a new dwelling or during renovation work. |
The purchaser is therefore only liable for interest on the amount of money withdrawn and only repays it after a date determined when the contract is signed.
This type of loan is very suitable for people who wish to build or restore a property. They can save on interest charges. A credit account can also be agreed for the purchase of a building. At the end of a certain repayment period the purchaser may be able to re-use the amount repaid, for example to do renovations.
