Pont-sur-Yonne is a little town 15 km from Sens, 35 km from Fontainebleau and 100 km from Paris. The town can be directly reached by train (Paris-Bercy) or by road (A5 and A6 motorways). A very busy market is held there twice a week. The early gothic style Notre-Dame church dates from the 13th century. It is listed as a French Historic Monument. He multiplied the stylistic codes constituting a subtle, eclectic property: a brick bay window, reminiscent of North African gazebos; Art Deco contours and floral inlaid decoration; a roof with widely overhanging eaves exhibiting a large number of rafters inspired by the neo-Norman style; and neo-classical touches in the form of brick used for string courses and arched lintels.
