When we think of the Pourbusstraat, we think of galleries, art, and beauty. And rightly so, as it turns out. At number 7, you will find an apartment decorated with immense taste. It gives us that distinct "every day feels like a holiday" vibe: wooden chairs with blue seats, yellow-striped sheets on the bed. Perhaps the round tables have something to do with it too; it feels like taking a seat in a cozy coffee bar (farewell, Revista) or a French bistro. With the major difference being that after dinner, you can enjoy a post-meal nap in a sofa that feels like a cloud. The 2 bedrooms are located at the quiet rear of the apartment, separated by a bathroom with a bathtub, plenty of light, and extra privacy thanks to a glass block wall. The second bedroom has been styled as a home office complete with a mini library. Furthermore, we notice that the kitchen and living space connect seamlessly through a meters-long built-in cabinet. The word "seamless" was not chosen by accident, by the way—in the past, sewing workshops were hosted in the apartment. The common charges amount to 250 euros per month, which serves as a provisional payment for the private consumption of water, gas, electricity, internet/TV, and the building insurance (blokpolis).

Als we aan de Pourbusstraat denken, denken we aan gallerijen, kunst en schoonheid. En terecht, zo blijkt. Op huisnummer 7 bevindt zich een met veel smaak ingericht appartement. Het geeft ons een soort van ‘elke dag op vakantie’ gevoel: houten stoelen met een blauwe zitting, geel gestreepte lakens op bed. Mogelijks zitten de ronde tafeltjes er ook voor iets tussen, je lijkt wel plaats te nemen in een gezellige koffiebar (adieu Revista) of een Franse bistro. Met als grote verschil dat je na het eten kan dinerdutten in een wolk van een sofa. De 2 slaapkamers bevinden zich aan de rustige achterzijde van het appartement. Gescheiden door een badkamer met een ligbad, veel licht en privacy door een wand uitgevoerd in glasdallen. De 2de slaapkamer werd ingericht als home office met een mini bibliotheek. Verder valt ons op dat de keuken en de leefruimte naadloos met elkaar in verbinding staan door een meterslange ingemaakte kast. Het woord ‘naadloos’ werd trouwens niet toevallig gekozen, in het verleden werden workshops naaien georganiseerd in het appartement. De gemene kosten bedragen 250 euro per maand en zijn zijn een provisie voor het privatief verbruik voor water, gas, elektriciteit en internet/tv en de blokpolis.
