We purchased this beautiful penthouse with a rooftop terrace (42m2) in Zwijnaarde for its excellent location, fantastic natural light, orientation, connection to the pond and garden, and its proximity to Parkbos and Gent city center (5 min away).
Our apartment is situated in the quiet and small-scale residence called ‘Leebeeks Vijverhof.’ It’s located on the second floor of the first building as you enter the residence. Both the building and the apartment are wheelchair accessible, equipped with a passenger elevator and a lift for people with disabilities. Parking is available in the two covered parking spaces/bike storage areas or as a visitor in one of the designated visitor spots.
As you step inside, the abundant natural light and glass door immediately draw you into the living room. There, you’ll find a bright and open kitchen with an island that includes a dishwasher and one-and-a-half sinks. The kitchen also features Siemens appliances and ample cabinet space. The spacious living area accommodates both the kitchen island and a dining table for six. Additionally, there’s a cozy corner for a TV, a sectional sofa, and a small reading nook.
The hallway houses a guest toilet, an efficient storage room, a smaller bedroom, and a larger bedroom. The bathroom has a double sink, mirror, toilet, and walk-in shower.
Thanks to its orientation, our spacious terrace is perfect for enjoying a pleasant lunch or a refreshing aperitif on a lounge chair or sunbed throughout the day.

Wij kochten dit prachtig penthouse met groot terras (42m2) in Zwijnaarde omwille van de ligging, de fantastische lichtinval, het ruimtegevoel, de oriëntatie, de connectie met de vijver & tuin, en de nabijheid van het Parkbos & Gent centrum (5 min).
Ons appartement is gelegen in de rustige en kleinschalige residentie ‘Leebeeks Vijverhof’ en dit op de 2de verdieping van het eerste gebouw als je de residentie komt oprijden. Zowel het gebouw als het appartement zijn rolstoeltoegankelijk, voorzien van een personenlift en andersvalidelift.
Parkeren doe je op de twee overdekte parkeerplaatsen/fietsberging (inbegrepen in de prijs).
Als je bij ons binnenkomt, word je door de lichtinval en glazen deur al snel naar de woonkamer getrokken. Daar tref je een lichtrijke en open keuken aan met een eiland die naast een vaatwasser en anderhalve spoelbak ook plaats geeft aan een eetplaats met 4 barkrukken. Tevens beschikt de keuken over Siemens toptoestellen en voldoende kastruimte.
In de ruime leefruimte is er naast het keukeneiland ook plaats voor een eettafel van 6 personen. De salonhoek geeft ruimte voor een tv, een hoeksofa en kleine leeshoek.
In de hal bevindt zich een gastentoilet, een efficiënte berging, een kleinere en een grotere slaapkamer en een badkamer met dubbele wastafel, spiegel, toilet en inloopdouche.
Door de oriëntatie is het op ons ruim terras de hele dag genieten van een gezellige lunch of een verfrissende aperitief in een lounge of ligbed.
