Privacy notice for the registered users
With this Registered Users' Privacy Notice ("Registered Users Notice") Immoweb NV, with registered office at Wolstraat 70, 1000 Brussels ("Immoweb", "we", "us") wishes to provide information on how we treat personal data of users who register and create an account. This Registered Users Notice should be read in addition to Immoweb's general privacy notice.

For certain processing described herein, Immoweb will be jointly responsible with its subsidiary Immoweb Financial Services NV ("IFS"). After all, IFS shares a large part of its business processes with Immoweb. Where this is the case, we explicitly indicate this. You should then interpret this Registered Users Notice to mean that it applies to both Immoweb and IFS, since they pursue the same objectives and have the same legal grounds.
However, you may contact Immoweb at any time for all your questions, comments and for the exercise of your rights in connection with the processing of personal data. The address details are:

1. You are registering as a user
A user can register via our website (https://www.immoweb.be/ and all connected landing pages of Immoweb; "Website") or via our mobile Immoweb application ("App").
1.1 The personal data we collect
When you register as a user and create an account, we collect the following personal data:
- your e-mail address;
- your password;
- name;
- telephone number;
- Postal address;
- language selection.
When using your account, we also collect data on your use of your account and our services via so-called activity logs.
The party responsible for processing this personal data is Immoweb.
1.2 The purpose for which we process your personal data
We process this personal data to allow you to securely register on our Website and/or in our App to use the more advanced features of our Website or App. We rely on the performance of the contract you enter into with us when you accept our Terms of Use during registration. You understand that we cannot complete your registration or provide you with an account if we are not allowed to process this personal data.
We also use your personal data to perform statistical analyses and to develop new products and services, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to understand the use of our Website and App and to evolve as a company.
Finally, we also use your personal data to be able to send you advertisements and newsletters by e-mail. For this purpose, we rely on the consent that you expressly give us via the Website or the App. You can change your preferences for receiving our commercial e-mails at any time via your account. You can also withdraw your consent by using the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the emails you receive from us.
For existing users, we may also send e-mail communications for our products and services that are similar to those you already receive from us. In such case, we will not ask for your permission, but rely on our legitimate interest to inform our existing customers about our products and services. However, you can always unsubscribe from such e-mails via your account or via the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the e-mails we send you.

We will retain the personal data of our registered users for as long as you have an account and for one (1) year after you delete your account.
The activity logs are always kept for a maximum of one (1) year from the date of creation.

The personal data we collect from our registered users is shared with the following parties:
- IT service providers who help us to provide the Website and the App;
- other companies within AVIV;
- call centre used by Immoweb.
2. Saving searches
2.1 The personal data we collect
When you save a search query as a registered user, we collect the parameters of the search query and your choice of whether or not to receive emails about the searches that match your query. You can also save a specific property search.
The party responsible for processing this personal data is Immoweb.
2.2 The purpose for which we process your personal data
We process this personal data in order to allow you to easily discover new listings that match your search criteria. We process these data in order to perform our contract with you.
We will only send emails or push notifications containing listings that match your search queries with your explicit consent. These emails or push notifications also contain references to real estate professionals in your vicinity. You may withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your choices for each search query saved in your account. You may also withdraw your consent to emails by using the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of emails you receive from us. If you withdraw your consent, we will no longer send you emails containing searches that match the search query, but the search query itself will not be deleted.
We also use search queries to perform statistical analysis and to develop new products and services, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to understand the use of our Website and App and to evolve as a company.
2.3 How long we keep your personal data
We keep the saved search queries until you delete them.
2.4 The parties with whom we share this personal data
The personal data we collect from our registered users is shared with the following parties:
- IT service providers who help us to provide the Website and the App;
- other companies within AVIV.
3. Upload a listing
3.1 The personal data we collect
When you, as a registered user, wish to upload a listing, we process the following personal data:
- your form of address(Mr./Ms.), your first name and last name ;
- properties of the property;
- photographs of the property;
- asking price;
- Postal address;
- Contact details (including your telephone number);
- payment data;
- your VAT number if you want an invoice.
The party responsible for processing this personal data is Immoweb.
We work with a payment provider to complete payments. As a regulated payment service provider, it is itself responsible for processing your personal data when completing payments. For more information on how the payment service provider processes your personal data, please refer to the privacy notice of this payment service provider.
3.2 The purpose for which we process your personal data
We process this personal data to :
- allow you to upload your own listing
- correctly estimate the value of your property with the help of our advisors and the processing of these personal data is therefore necessary for the use of the estimation tool;
- seek assistance, among other things by allowing us to contact you by phone and if you wish, to put you in touch with a real estate agent. We process this data in order to execute our contract with you.
- feed our anonymous database which we use to display the overview of real estate prices in Belgium (see section 1.3 below), for which we rely on our legitimate interest to show a price map in Belgium;
- feed our database with anonymous data that we use to develop other products and services and to demonstrate to our customers the value of our range of services for which we rely on our legitimate interest to continue to expand and promote our range of products and services to our customers.
- handle billing and payment. This includes dealing with refunds where a payment has been incorrectly charged.
- In particular, we process the data relating to the listing to improve our own estimation tool and show the listing on our price list and on our prospection maps. For this we rely on our legitimate interest to improve our products and services.
We also use listings to perform statistical analysis, to detect fraud and to develop new products and services, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to understand the use of our Website and App, to keep our services safe and to evolve as a company.
3.3 How long we keep your personal data
We will retain the personal data related to a listing you publish for as long as you wish to publish the listing on Immoweb or as long as you save it in your account.
We retain personal data relating to invoicing for seven (7) years, in accordance with our legal obligations.
We keep permanent records of the personal data we use for product improvement, statistical analysis and to develop new products and services.
3.4 The parties with whom we share this personal data
The personal data we collect from our registered users is shared with the following parties:
• the experts who will assist you in your sales project
• IT service providers who help us to provide the Website and the App;
• the professional and non-professional users of Immoweb who will see the advertised listing;
• the abovementioned payment service providers and banks;
• accountants and auditors;
• tax and other competent authorities;
• Collection agencies and legal service providers such as lawyers and bailiffs if you fail to fulfil your payment obligations;
• other companies within AVIV.
>4. Contacting an expert
4.1. The personal data we collect
When you, as a registered user, wish to contact an expert, we process the following personal data :
• your form of address (Mr./Ms.), your first name and last name ;
• full address of your property;
• details of your property
• contact details (including your telephone number);
• your preference on the duration of your sale project
The party responsible for processing these personal data is Immoweb.
>4.2. Why we process your personal data?
We process these personal data in order to :
• provide you with free advice for a sale project
• correctly estimate the value of your property through the assistance of our advisors and the processing of this personal data is therefore necessary to execute our agreement with you for the use of the estimation tool;
• contact you to find a real estate agent according to your needs, which is necessary to execute our agreement with you to put you in contact with an expert who will advise you in your sale project
• populate our anonymous database which we use to develop other products and services and to demonstrate to our customers the value of our range of services for which we have a legitimate interest in continuing to expand and promote our range of products and services to our customers.
Estimation data will be shared with one or more third parties (including real estate agents) in order to obtain a more refined estimation. In this case, see section 4 "Communication with third parties through our website" above. You understand that we would not be able to offer you the "Contact an Expert" feature if we were not authorized to process such personal data.
If you indicate at the end of the request that you would like to receive our marketing communications by e-mail, you expressly authorize Immoweb to process your name, e-mail address and e-mail preferences for direct marketing purposes and you wish to receive such communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Please refer to the general notice.

Personal data generated by the estimation tool will be kept in identifiable form for thirty (30) days.
For data provided by telephone as part of the "contact an expert" tool will be retained for five (5) years.
However, if you choose to receive our marketing emails, we will retain your email address and email preferences until you withdraw your consent or change your preferences.

• third parties selected to receive a refined quote and those who will accompany you in your sales project;

5.1. The personal data we collect
When you use our estimation tool to estimate the price of your property (https://estimation.immoweb.be/), we collect the following personal data:
• your email address ;
• your telephone number;
• your form of address (Mr./Ms.), your first name and last name
• your e-mail preferences ;
• your property address;
• details of your property.
The party responsible for processing this personal data is Immoweb.
>5.2. Why we process your personal data?
We process this personal data to:
a) allow you to use the estimation tool, b) to be supported in your sales project by our professional partners and c) to ensure that your data/information remains up to date by means of periodic emails, among other things. The processing of this personal data is therefore necessary to execute our agreement with you for the services mentioned in this paragraph;
collect them in order to provide them to our real estate professional who assists you by phone or email with your concrete sales project. The personal data you enter is therefore necessary for us and our real estate professional to help you to make the most of your project;
feed our database with anonymized data which we use to display the overview of real estate prices in Belgium, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to show a price map of Belgium;
feed our database with pseudonymized and anonymized data that we use to develop other products and services and to demonstrate to our customers the value of our range of services, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to further expand and promote our range of products and services to our customers.
If, at the end of the estimation request, you indicate that you wish to share your estimation data with one or more third parties (in particular real estate agents) in order to obtain a more refined estimation, you will be asked to provide additional personal data. In this case, see section 4 "Communicating with third parties via our Website or the App" of the general privacy notice. You understand that we would not be able to offer you the estimation tool if we were not allowed to process these personal data.
If you indicate at the end of the estimate request that you wish to receive our marketing communications by e-mail, you expressly authorise Immoweb to process your name, e-mail address and e-mail preferences for direct marketing purposes and you wish to receive such communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time. If you are a registered user, please refer to the Registered Users Notice. If you are not a registered user, you may withdraw your consent by using the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of emails we send you or by sending an email yourself to [email protected].
5.3. How long we keep your personal data
The above mentioned personal data will be kept in identifiable form for thirty (30) days. Thereafter, it is automatically anonymized.
However, if you choose to receive our marketing emails, we will retain your email address and email preferences until you withdraw your consent or change your preferences.
However, for data provided by telephone, we will retain your data for five (5) years.

When you use our "contact us" tool via the call center on +32 2 333 25 06 to assist you in the sale of your property, we collect the following data

We process your personal data in order to :
• enable you to correctly estimate the value of your property through the guidance of our advisors and the processing of this personal data is therefore necessary to execute our agreement with you to use the estimation tool ;
• contact you to find a real estate agent according to your needs, which is necessary to execute our agreement with you, the contact between the agent and the user being an element of our services;
• feed our database of anonymous data that we use to display the overview of real estate prices in Belgium (see section 1.3 below), for which we rely on our legitimate interest to show a price map in Belgium;
• populate our database with anonymous data that we use to develop other products and services and to demonstrate to our customers the value of our range of services, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to continue to expand and promote our range of products and services to our customers.

>7. Saving a loan simulation
7.1 The personal data we collect
For the service on our Website that allows you to save your created simulations of mortgage loans after you click on the button "Save my simulation", we process the following personal data:
- location of the property;
- certain characteristics of the property;
- monthly income;
- number of dependants;
- date of birth;
- debts and expenses;
- telephone number;
- email address.
The above personal data together constitute your financial profile.
The joint controllers for the processing of this personal data to allow you to carry out the loan simulation are Immoweb and IFS.
7.2 The purpose for which we process your personal data
We process this personal data in order to allow you to perform a loan simulation again at a later time with the personal data contained in your financial profile. The processing of this personal data is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you as a registered user who chooses to use the financial profile storage function.
We also process personal data to:
- statistical surveys;
- to improve our products and services and develop new ones;
- to put you in contact with the mortgage provider. For this purpose, we process your personal data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
For these purposes, we rely on our legitimate interest to be able to improve our existing services and to develop additional services.
7.3 How long we keep your personal data
We will retain the personal data in your financial profile for as long as you have an account and for one (1) year after you delete your account, unless you delete it sooner yourself.
7.4 The parties with whom we share this personal data
The personal data we collect for the loan simulation is shared with the following parties:
- IT service providers;
- Mortgage loan providers;
- other companies within AVIV.
